Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Interdependency Management Office for the IM Transcend transformation, ensuring governance, risk mitigation, and strategic alignment across global programs.
This position serves as the central leader for the Interdependency Management Office (IMO) within the IM Transcend Global PMO. The primary purpose is to establish and maintain the governance framework and operating model that manages complex interdependencies across the IM Transcend transformation program. By driving an integrated portfolio process, the role connects Transcend with other organizational initiatives to optimize value realization and ensure delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate the IMO framework, governance structures, and operating model for the IM Transcend program.
- Identify, map, and continuously track all interdependencies across projects, functions, and workstreams both inside and outside the IM Transcend scope.
- Lead integrated portfolio processes to link Transcend with other programs, ensuring optimal value realization and high-quality delivery.
- Establish and chair governance forums and communication channels to escalate issues, resolve conflicts, and facilitate key decisions.
- Proactively assess and manage risks associated with interdependencies, ensuring mitigation strategies are defined and communicated to stakeholders.
- Conduct timely impact analyses of external initiatives on the IM Transcend program to prevent unplanned events and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across business, technology, and third parties to consolidate inputs and support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide regular, insightful reporting to senior leadership on interdependency status, risks, and mitigation progress.
- Guide senior leadership on critical decisions by clearly articulating the impact of interdependencies, helping prioritize issues, and influencing focus on strategic topics.
- Champion change management and education efforts to embed the IMO methodology and operating model within the IM Transcend program.
- Continuously improve IMO processes and tools by leveraging lessons learned and industry best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IMO team, ensuring analysts are equipped to perform operational analysis and reporting effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or large-scale transformation programs.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex global Program Management leadership.
- Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain or Commercial Operations.
- Demonstrated hands-on project management and delivery experience.
- Experience in people management and team development.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

- Advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable.
