GF Casting Solutions seeks an Intern in Portfolio Marketing for a 6-12 month onsite role in Schaffhausen. The position offers hands-on experience in product marketing and business development within an international industrial environment.
This internship is situated within the Portfolio Marketing team of GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions, a division of GF. The role is designed to provide practical exposure to a dynamic, global setting while allowing the intern to contribute directly to genuine marketing and business development projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze products and markets to spot trends, customer requirements, and potential growth areas
- Assist in shaping product portfolios, positioning strategies, value propositions, and application-specific marketing content
- Research competitors and help generate insights for market intelligence
- Develop sales enablement materials, presentations, product documentation, and campaign assets
- Work closely with cross-functional groups including Product Management, Sales, Communications, and Global/Digital Marketing
- Help coordinate product launches, internal updates, and marketing campaigns
- Update and enhance product-related content across various internal and external platforms
Requirements
- Recent graduate or current student in Engineering, Industrial Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Genuine interest in product marketing, industrial technologies, and B2B sectors
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient use of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Structured, proactive, and reliable approach to work
- Curiosity, team spirit, and a strong desire to learn
Nice to have
- Knowledge of German or other additional languages
