Junior Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Build high value features for the new Affiliate Marketing platform.
• Support new colleagues, influence ways of working and best practices, and establish the culture in this new team.
• Write elegant code and constantly refactor and improve.
• Implement RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Write unit tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor applications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial Software Engineering roles.
• Some experience working with front-end code, ideally using Angular.
• Good experience in developing cloud software using AWS services, Typescript, Java, Docker.
• Enthusiasm for using and finding new ways to use AI tools to augment software development practices.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Good understanding of the SOLID principles.
• Familiar with agile processes eg. Scrum or Kanban.

Nice to have

• Experience with information security, able to design and implement solutions with mitigation against security threats.
• Some experience of TDD and Pair Programming practices.
• Experience working with PHP, including building and maintaining web applications.
