Junior Platform / DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Automate and maintain software delivery processes.
• Build and maintain testing and development environments.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Work with cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Support application hosting across Azure App Services and Kubernetes.
• Work with containerised applications.
• Maintain infrastructure and support general platform upkeep.
• Support the wider team with software engineering and database tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0 to 2 years' experience; recent graduates and candidates with internship or university-project experience welcome.
• Interest in DevOps and platform engineering: cloud, automation, infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with some of the following: C# / .NET, Python, Microsoft Azure, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work across multiple functions in a small, entrepreneurial team.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
• Acute attention to accuracy and detail.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic self-starter.

Nice to have

• Master's degree is a plus.
