The company seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Zürich to design, automate, and operate large-scale enterprise security services across Windows and Linux platforms.
This position sits at the crossroads of security engineering, automation, and large-scale operations. The role focuses on building and maintaining end-to-end security services that rely on agents and backend components, ensuring they integrate reliably into a complex, constantly evolving enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain security services and backend systems.
- Automate workflows to eliminate manual and repetitive tasks.
- Ensure the stable and efficient operation of security services.
- Support the rollout, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of security solutions.
- Test, validate, and safely deploy changes to production environments.
- Document solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or higher education in Computer Science (EFZ, HF, FH, or university).
- Experience in a DevOps, Systems Engineering, or comparable technical role.
- Strong automation-first mindset with solid scripting experience.
- Hands-on experience with configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Git, etc.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with Azure services or strong motivation to develop skills in this area.
- Knowledge of monitoring, testing and operational observability.
- Ability to design automation-first solutions that are scalable and operationally sustainable.
- Very good German and English
