This permanent position places you directly with the client company based in Zurich. The role focuses on ensuring smooth warehouse operations through efficient goods handling, accurate inventory management, and safe material movement.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming deliveries
- Picking and assembling customer orders as specified
- Loading and dispatching products while adhering to safety protocols
- Performing regular stock checks and full inventory counts
- Improving warehouse layout and streamlining storage processes
- Driving industrial trucks, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet trucks, to move materials
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as a Logistics Specialist or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated background in warehouse logistics and operating forklifts
- Current forklift license along with hands-on experience in safely maneuvering industrial trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking methods
- Strong organizational abilities with a talent for prioritizing tasks
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for interacting with team members and external partners
- Flexibility to work shift schedules and overtime hours when necessary
