Management Controller Fund Investment

Coni & Partner AG seeks a Junior Management Controller for Fund Investment in Zurich. The role supports the Fund Controlling team with financial analysis, reporting, and process automation within an international banking environment.

This position serves as a support staff member within the Fund Controlling team at an international bank based in Zurich. The primary purpose is to assist with financial analyses, budgeting, and forecasting while contributing to the optimization of reporting systems and the integration of AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Supporting ongoing financial analyses, budgeting cycles, and forecasting activities.
• Conducting variance analyses to track performance against plans.
• Reconciling and reviewing fund-related fees.
• Reviewing fund investment data and structures.
• Performing ad hoc analytical tasks as requested.
• Assisting with scenario analyses, research, financial projections, and cash management.
• Maintaining and continuously improving management reporting standards.
• Collaborating on the development and automation of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting workflows.
• Optimizing AI-powered tools to enhance system efficiency and output quality.
• Participating in initiatives that foster AI-supported work environments, cross-functional projects, and the integration of IT and data flows.

Requirements

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance or Business Information Systems.
• Relevant experience in the fund industry, gained during or after studies, such as working as a financial analyst in asset management, an investment controller, or an IT auditor at a Big Four firm specializing in fund business.
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
• A team-oriented mindset with an interest in coordinating projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft 365, and database management.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with multidimensional data structures (cubes).
• Fluency in both German and English.

• A strong interest in IT, databases, multidimensional data structures (cubes), and AI-supported work environments.
• Interest in machine learning (ML) and AI-driven processes.
