Manager, Production

SOPHiA GENETICS seeks a hands-on Manager, Production in Rolle, CH, to lead daily operations, manage a team of five, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated healthcare environment.

This hands-on leadership role sits within the Production team at the company’s site in Rolle. The position is designed to directly impact patient outcomes for cancer and rare disease by ensuring efficient, high-quality production operations. The manager will oversee day-to-day activities, lead a small team, and collaborate across functions to resolve issues and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities, including setting priorities and scheduling team tasks.
• Manage a group of five employees, ensuring daily execution goals are met.
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects targeting efficiency, quality, capacity, and cost reduction.
• Independently lead projects while maintaining control over routine production workflows.
• Collaborate with Quality, QC, project teams, and customers to address and resolve production challenges.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production or warehouse operations within healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or medical device sectors.
• Background in producing or assembling products under strict regulatory conditions.
• Experience leading on-site teams, including managing coverage plans and addressing resource limitations.
• Leadership experience in lean environments with a focus on operational support.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site five days per week with reliable commuting.

• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in regulated or quality-focused settings.
