P2612 - Senior Manager Statistical Programming

Debiopharm seeks a Senior Manager Statistical Programming in Lausanne, CH, to lead statistical and clinical data science programming, drive digitalization and AI adoption, and manage a team delivering high-quality clinical data outputs. Full-time, onsite role requiring 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical clinical development with SAS and regulatory compliance.

This role provides strategic leadership for statistical and clinical data science programming, advancing digital transformation through AI and new technical solutions. It involves managing a team of programmers and data scientists to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables for clinical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of statistical programmers, including resource planning, hiring, and career development.
• Develop and execute the roadmap for AI integration and new technical solutions for clinical data reporting and integration.
• Ensure all programming outputs, including datasets and TLFs, meet quality standards and project timelines for study reports and integrated summaries.
• Offer technical direction to CRO partners to support efficient, integrated reporting and compliance with standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements for electronic data submissions.
• Collaborate closely with Biostatistics, Data Management, IT, and Clinical Development teams.

Requirements

• MSc in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in statistical programming within pharmaceutical clinical development.
• Strong expertise in SAS software and general computing techniques.
• Deep understanding of clinical trial design, reporting workflows, and software development/validation practices.
• Proactive communicator capable of adapting to evolving needs and fostering effective cross-functional relationships.
