P2621 - (Senior) Pharmacometrician

Debiopharm seeks a Senior Pharmacometrician in Lausanne to conduct modeling and simulation for oncology and antibiotics projects, supporting innovative medicine development through advanced PMx analyses.

This position focuses on pharmacometrics analyses to accelerate the development of innovative medicines, specifically contributing to modeling and simulation activities for projects in Oncology and Antibiotics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute pharmacometrics tasks across non-clinical and clinical drug development phases for oncology programs.
• Carry out modeling and simulation work in line with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Help create, roll out, and advocate for novel PMx methodologies.
• Assist in designing and carrying out model-informed drug development strategies from early to late stages.
• Share PMx findings within a cross-functional team.
• Help draft PMx documentation for regulatory submissions or internal reviews.
• Engage in external scientific discussions and attend conferences.
• Provide support for in-licensing and out-licensing efforts.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in Pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics, or related fields with proven PMx expertise.
• 3-5 years of relevant PMx experience in industry or academia.
• Strong practical experience with Population PK/PD modeling tools like Monolix and NONMEM.
• Proficient programming skills in R and Python.
• Deep understanding of pharmacology, pharmacokinetic principles, and preclinical/clinical development.
• Familiarity with GCP, GCLP, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting while fostering collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong ability to interpret results, write scientifically, and communicate effectively in English.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in oncology.
• Knowledge of PBPK modeling software such as SimCYP, PK-Sim, or Gastro-Plus.
• French language proficiency.
