Producer - International Broadcast Events

Host Broadcast Services in Zürich seeks a mid-level Producer for international broadcast events. The role involves executing editorial vision across presentation and game coverage, collaborating with production teams and on-screen talent, and managing on-site workflows in a hybrid work environment.

This position is responsible for bringing editorial vision to life across live presentation and game coverage for major international broadcast events. The producer works closely with production management and on-screen talent to develop and deliver high-quality content, ensuring seamless integration and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the editorial vision for both presentation and game coverage, ensuring smooth content integration and on-time delivery.
• Design and manage on-site shooting schedules with production management, assigning crews and editors to meet deadlines.
• Provide creative input across all content types to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
• Participate in pre-production planning and evaluate on-site delivery strategies.
• Ensure presentation and game teams receive all necessary content on time for transmission.
• Help improve workflows for both live and non-live production environments.
• Identify and coordinate freelance production staff for on-site delivery needs.
• Collaborate with production management to optimize execution and staffing for events.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in live sports or large-scale international broadcast production, including technical and editorial knowledge of production workflows such as remote production.
• Strong editorial sense and creative storytelling skills, with awareness of content trends for live and digital audiences.
• Proven ability to build schedules and manage crews under high-pressure conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities across diverse, multidisciplinary teams and all organizational levels.
• Experience in client-facing roles requiring diplomacy and negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• An interest in basketball or prior experience in basketball production is advantageous.
