Project Management & Cooperation Assistant - 6 months

Michael Page is seeking a Project Management & Cooperation Assistant for a 6-month on-site contract in Geneva. The role focuses on project design, stakeholder coordination, and strategic communications.

This position supports the full lifecycle of international cooperation initiatives. The assistant helps design new projects, manages implementation details, and coordinates with various stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are met through effective monitoring and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating new project frameworks, tools, and working methods.
  • Draft and refine essential documentation such as concept notes, proposals, logical frameworks, and implementation plans.
  • Perform research and analysis to inform project design and strategic decisions.
  • Help build reporting structures and define key performance indicators for project tracking.
  • Prepare briefing notes, background papers, and talking points for senior leadership engagements.
  • Create communication content for conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and consistency in all project and communication outputs.
  • Provide logistical and substantive support for international meetings, missions, and conferences.
  • Coordinate agendas and prepare background materials for meetings.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and track follow-up actions from events.
  • Maintain clear communication with partners throughout project phases.
  • Support monitoring activities and track the progress of deliverables.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in International Relations, Public Administration, Law, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, international cooperation, or development programs.
  • Proven track record of supporting the design and execution of complex projects.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with international organizations, public institutions, NGOs, or multinational environments.
  • Ability to speak additional languages.
