Project Manager

Cargoo AG seeks a Mid-level Project Manager in Zürich (hybrid) to lead logistics and technology projects, aligning cross-functional teams and driving digital freight management initiatives.

The company is looking for a Project Manager to steer logistics and technology initiatives from initial planning through to final implementation. This position acts as the main connection between internal departments, external partners, and clients, ensuring that strategic goals, timelines, and budgets are met to support the digital transformation of global freight management. The role can be based at the Zurich headquarters or remotely from Warsaw or Prague.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee comprehensive project schedules, financial plans, and risk evaluations.
• Ensure project goals align with the company's strategic direction and client needs.
• Coordinate efforts across operations, procurement, finance, legal, and technology departments.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Promote open communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
• Lead regular project evaluations and implement process enhancements.
• Direct the deployment and integration of technology solutions into logistics workflows.
• Establish standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service quality.

Requirements

• At least three years of project management experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within a 4PL or digital freight setting.
• Demonstrated success in managing RFI/RFQ processes and delivering cross-functional projects.
• Solid grasp of procurement, contract management, and logistics operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Capacity to handle several projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS models, and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement frameworks.
• Background in digital freight forwarding or logistics technology platforms.
