Project Manager

Commodity Supplies AG seeks a Mid-level Project Manager in Zürich (hybrid) to lead logistics projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of timelines and budgets.

The company is looking for a Project Manager to drive logistics initiatives from initial planning through to final implementation. This position serves as the central connection between internal departments, external partners, and clients, ensuring that all project goals align with strategic objectives and client expectations while managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee comprehensive project schedules, financial plans, and risk evaluations.
• Ensure project goals align with the company's strategic direction and client needs.
• Coordinate efforts across operations, procurement, finance, legal, and technology departments.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Promote open communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
• Lead regular project reviews and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Supervise the deployment and integration of technology solutions within logistics workflows.
• Establish and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service quality.

Requirements

• At least three years of project management experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within a 4PL or digital freight setting.
• Demonstrated success in managing RFI/RFQ processes and delivering cross-functional projects.
• Solid grasp of procurement, contract management, and logistics operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, SaaS models, and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement frameworks.
• Background in freight forwarding or logistics technology platforms.
