The Commercial Procurement Manager acts as a central link between engineering, commercial, finance, and project teams, driving efficient procurement and sourcing across all project stages to support project success.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the procurement of goods, equipment, and services for international infrastructure and EPC projects.
- Works with engineering and cost management teams to support budgeting, cost planning, and cost database maintenance.
- Designs and executes procurement strategies that align with project needs and business goals.
- Coordinates with internal and external partners to develop and implement effective sourcing solutions.
- Supports tender and bid processes by engaging suppliers and applying sourcing expertise.
- Leads commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contract and performance terms.
- Assists in preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts and related documentation.
- Tracks project progress and adjusts procurement plans, strategies, and budget forecasts as needed.
- Manages international logistics, including transportation, customs, insurance, and Incoterms.
- Reviews supplier invoices and supports claims and dispute resolution.
- Ensures timely delivery and receipt of goods and services across project sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and commercial frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities, with proficiency in Excel.
- Good grasp of construction processes, materials, and associated commercial and legal aspects.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, governance, and compliance standards.
- Experience leading or coordinating teams in multicultural settings.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, organized, and solution-focused approach to work.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English.

- Experience with Export Credit Agency (ECA) reporting.
- Additional language skills.
