QC Project Manager

The company seeks a Senior QC Project Manager in Visp, Switzerland, to lead analytical projects, manage customer relationships, and provide scientific leadership within Quality Control.

In this position, the professional will act as the main analytical expert for customer initiatives, offering scientific direction across Quality Control functions. The role involves serving as the key contact for analytical matters, guiding method implementation and transfer, and ensuring the successful completion of development and manufacturing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding analytical matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct method implementation, development, transfer, validation, and sample analysis across Quality Control labs.
• Organize project tasks and guarantee that quality, budget, and schedule targets are met.
• Calculate resource needs, project expenses, and task timelines while monitoring progress.
• Address analytical and Quality Control challenges that arise during development and manufacturing.
• Deliver scientific knowledge, data interpretation, technical advice, and structured problem-solving assistance.
• Represent Quality Control in customer meetings, audits, and cross-functional projects while aiding team growth.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control, or equivalent expertise gained through a PhD program.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and regulated laboratory environments.
• Proven program or project management experience.
• Experience managing customer relationships and technical communications.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and scientific decision-making skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
