This position focuses on providing comprehensive legal counsel to private clients, financial institutions, and family offices. The role covers the full range of inheritance law, estate planning, and related areas, while also handling family law, adult protection, and cross-border tax issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance to private clients, banks, family offices, and executors on inheritance law and related fields, including estate planning, administration, and the creation of trusts and foundations.
- Advise on tax law matters, with a specific emphasis on cross-border scenarios.
- Support private clients with relocation, asset structuring, shareholding arrangements, and business succession planning.
- Handle marital and family law matters, as well as adult protection issues.
- Represent private clients in litigation within the Private Clients practice area.
Requirements
- Strong legal qualifications.
- Several years of professional experience in Swiss and international private law.
- Prior work experience at a commercial law firm or a court.
- Very good English language skills.
Nice to have
- Additional qualifications such as a PhD, LL.M., or specialist certification in inheritance or family law.
- Strong knowledge of the relevant practice areas and a desire to specialize further.
