Release Manager Reporting & Analytics

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Release Manager for Reporting & Analytics in Zug, CH, to oversee SAP S/4HANA release cycles and ensure data integrity across global operations.

This functional position supports a large-scale, multi-year global SAP S/4HANA transformation. The incumbent manages reports, KPIs, and analytics across various releases, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving operational excellence in S/4 operations reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment schedule for analytics and KPIs, defining scope and timelines with stakeholders.
• Monitor operational metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and compliance in all reported outputs.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and tools for better efficiency.
• Deploy custom analytical reports and ensure they meet user requirements.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and secure final approval of reports.
• Lead the hypercare phase for data reporting to ensure stability.
• Facilitate the handover of reporting tools to final end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in SAP deployment or enterprise deployment roles.
• Proven track record in leading data reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
• Solid understanding of SAP data structures.
• Knowledge of GxP, SOX, audit standards, CSV, data integrity (ALCOA+), GDPR, and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with release management fundamentals, including release calendars, playbooks, and rollback plans.
• Experience supporting testing cycles such as SIT, BST, and UAT.
• Strong expertise in analytical reporting, datasets, KPIs, and BI platform deployment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
