This position serves as a key point of contact for clients, merging the responsibilities of a rental experience coordinator with those of an RV sales specialist. The role focuses on guiding customers through their rental process while also converting interest into RV purchases, ensuring every interaction leaves the client happy.
Responsibilities
- Manage rental check-ins and check-outs, including initial briefings and continuous support during the rental period.
- Address service recovery situations and handle emergencies with a calm and empathetic approach.
- Prepare and conduct demonstrations of RVs, highlighting specific features and addressing individual customer requirements.
- Ensure all handover procedures run smoothly and that necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Log leads, track demo activities, and manage follow-ups within the CRM system.
- Identify opportunities to convert rental clients into RV buyers and collaborate with the sales district and city leads to achieve targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Indie Campers RV fleet and perform basic system demonstrations, such as lighting and gas operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or automotive sectors.
- Excellent communication abilities and a talent for engaging with customers.
- Capability to understand and clearly explain technical aspects of RV or vehicle systems.
- A hands-on, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset, especially when working under pressure.
- Proficiency in operating rental management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing leads and clients.
- A valid Category B driving license.
- Fluency in English.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift or carry items weighing between 10 and 15 kilograms.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons.
- Ability to interact calmly and professionally with customers experiencing a range of emotions, from excitement to stress or confusion.
