SAP ABAP Developer (m/f)

BROMsolutions AG seeks a Senior SAP ABAP Developer in Bern to build and maintain custom solutions for FI/CO, MM/SD, and PP/QM modules within ECC and S/4HANA environments.

The company is looking for an experienced developer to design, code, and support SAP ABAP applications. This position focuses on creating technical solutions for Finance, Logistics, and Production areas while ensuring high performance and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and support ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Design custom technical solutions for Finance (FI/CO), Logistics (MM/SD), and Production (PP/QM) modules.
• Draft technical specifications derived from functional business needs.
• Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and optimize system performance.
• Produce and keep up-to-date technical documentation for all custom developments.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to align technical outputs with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of practical SAP ABAP development experience in ECC and S/4HANA, including Objects, WebDynpro, BAPI, RFC, BADI, and User Exits.
• Demonstrated success in delivering SAP projects across various modules.
• Strong proficiency with SAP development tools.
• Solid knowledge of the data dictionary, ALV reporting, SAP Script, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and CDS views development and modeling.
• Fundamental understanding of SAP modules.
• Capability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
• Skill in creating and maintaining process documentation and standard operating procedures.
