SAP FI/CO Professional (m/f/d) OneFinance

The company seeks a Senior SAP FI/CO Professional to lead S/4HANA implementation and support within its global shared service organization, ensuring efficient financial processes and cross-functional collaboration.

This position operates within a centralized group service organization that unifies key HR, IT, and Finance functions. The role is dedicated to assisting the Körber Group by delivering standardized services and optimizing financial workflows through S/4HANA deployment and ongoing system support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical SAP FI/CO expertise throughout the S/4HANA migration, including fit-gap analysis, testing, data verification, and cutover planning.
• Verify that updated financial workflows align with operational needs while meeting all regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Manage post-implementation support by troubleshooting issues, refining processes, and stabilizing financial operations after the system goes live.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end accounting functions, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, asset accounting, and month-end closing.
• Assist with controlling tasks like cost center management, internal orders, and profitability analysis, coordinating with specialized CO team members.
• Bridge finance and logistics workflows by understanding FI/MM procurement links and FI/SD/CO order-to-cash integration to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.
• Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and business units to maintain clear communication during system design, testing, and rollout phases.
• Provide training, create documentation, and resolve daily operational questions for business users.
• Partner with various workstreams to manage process dependencies and coordinate module integrations across MM, SD, and CO.
• Temporarily handle routine FI/CO operational tasks to allow internal specialists to focus on project deliverables.
• Maintain stable daily operations throughout the transformation period.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or harmonize processes under the OneFinance/GBS framework.

Requirements

• Possess a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate practical experience with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, preferably gained in project or transformation settings.
• Show strong proficiency in core finance processes (AP, AR, GL, Assets, closing) and solid foundational knowledge of controlling.
• Understand integrated logistics flows, with experience in FI/MM and SD/FI/CO integration.
• Thrive in dynamic settings and manage competing priorities during rollout phases.
• Exhibit strong communication abilities and cultural sensitivity for effective collaboration in international, cross-functional teams.
• Be fluent in both English and German.
• Maintain an analytical, solution-focused approach and enjoy hands-on system and data work.
• Be willing to travel occasionally for business purposes.

• Familiarity with global or matrix organizational structures and shared services (GBS) environments is advantageous.
