Lombard Odier IM seeks a Senior SAP FI Application Expert in Geneva to support financial ecosystem evolution, S/4HANA transition, and provide expert-level functional support.
This position sits within the IT Department, where the incumbent joins a specialized team dedicated to advancing the financial infrastructure for a private banking context. The role focuses on accounting, business intelligence, planning, consolidation, and expense management, while actively driving the technological shift toward next-generation S/4HANA solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain system stability by delivering second and third-level functional and technical support for SAP FI/CO, BW/4 HANA, SAC, BPC, and Concur.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs, escalating to SAP support when necessary.
- Collaborate with the SAP product owner and Finance stakeholders to guide platform evolution.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Controlling departments.
- Design functional solutions and author detailed technical specifications.
- Configure SAP FI modules (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting) and CO components.
- Support the evolution of BPC planning models and develop reporting solutions using BW/4 and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Participate in S/4HANA conversion initiatives and new system onboarding projects.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of change requests and projects, including scoping, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Ensure all system changes adhere to internal change management protocols and audit frameworks.
Requirements
- At least seven years of hands-on experience with SAP FI (80%) and CO (20%) in complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated success in both operational support and project-based delivery.
- Strong proficiency in SAP BW reporting, BPC planning and consolidation, and SAP Concur configuration and integration.
- Deep understanding of financial accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset management, and bank reconciliation.
- Full professional proficiency in both French and English.
- Current residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and migration strategies.
- Familiarity with private banking operational workflows, such as client accounting, fee structures, treasury operations, and regulatory reporting.
