WinGD seeks a Senior SAP Functional Expert for SD & MM in Winterthur. The role focuses on second-level support, translating business needs into SAP solutions, and optimizing logistics and sales processes.
This position serves as the functional backbone for logistics, supply chain, and sales operations. The expert will provide second-level support for SAP SD and MM, translating business requirements into effective solutions while ensuring stable daily operations and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level functional support for SAP SD and MM modules.
- Analyze business needs, incidents, and change requests to design and implement SAP solutions.
- Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to enhance business processes and system capabilities.
- Manage SAP enhancements, change requests, and incident resolution.
- Conduct functional testing, support UAT execution, and assist with release activities.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to key users.
- Define data requirements, validation rules, and quality checks for master data management.
- Work with external SAP partners on complex configurations, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP governance, templates, standards, and best practices.
- Support stable daily operations across logistics, procurement, and sales processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD and MM in a functional or consulting role.
- Strong customizing knowledge of SAP SD and MM, including procurement, inventory management, pricing, and sales processes.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, or major enhancement projects.
- Good understanding of integration points with other SAP modules, particularly FI/CO, PS, and CS.
- Experience working with business stakeholders in an international environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Nice to have
- SAP S/4HANA experience and/or SAP certification are strong advantages.
- Fluent English; good German skills are an advantage.
