Senior SAP SD/MM Consultant (m/f/d)

Novarto Schweiz AG seeks a Senior SAP SD/MM Consultant to optimize sales, distribution, and materials management processes. The role involves designing scalable workflows, leading SAP projects, and ensuring system compliance and stability.

The company is looking for an experienced consultant to enhance client operations by leveraging SAP technologies. This position focuses on streamlining sales, procurement, and logistics workflows while guiding the transition to modern SAP landscapes. The consultant will act as a key advisor, bridging business needs with technical solutions to drive efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert for SAP SD and MM functionalities.
• Convert business needs into technical SAP configurations that improve sales, purchasing, and stock management.
• Advise internal teams on SAP best practices for sales, procurement, and logistics.
• Drive or support SAP initiatives at both national and international levels.
• Create and maintain detailed functional specifications.
• Oversee project schedules, potential risks, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain the reliability and performance of the SAP SD/MM environment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and process change requests.
• Conduct routine system setup, upkeep, and validation tests.
• Collaborate with specialized SAP experts and outside vendors.
• Integrate third-party tools and supplementary software.
• Guarantee adherence to trade rules, tax legislation, and corporate guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP SD and MM modules.
• Demonstrate a track record of managing complete SAP project lifecycles.
• Hold deep knowledge of SAP SD (Sales, Billing, Shipping, Pricing) and MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master).
• Understand SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, and integration with other SAP modules (FI, WM, PP).
• ABAP skills are mandatory.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• English fluency.

Nice to have

• International rollout and S/4HANA experience preferred.
• SAP SD/MM Certification preferred.
• German is a strong plus.
