SAP Consultant (m/w/d)

ITech Consult AG seeks a Senior SAP Consultant in Zürich for a contract role. The position focuses on supporting an SAP Ariba GoLive, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring system integration.

The company is undertaking a significant transformation within its procurement environment. This role is critical for supporting the SAP Ariba GoLive and managing the subsequent Hypercare phase to ensure a stable transition.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, execution, and Hypercare support for the SAP Ariba GoLive.
• Optimize and maintain the integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP ECC.
• Analyze and resolve errors in SAP ERP related to end-to-end purchasing workflows.
• Conduct technical and functional analysis of Source-to-Pay procurement processes.
• Provide troubleshooting support for Ariba modules including Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Buying.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams, business units, and external partners.
• Offer business consulting and support to procurement stakeholders.
• Drive process optimizations within the Source-to-Pay framework.
• Participate in post-GoLive stabilization and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in the SAP ecosystem at a senior or expert level.
• Proven background as an SAP Consultant specializing in Procurement or Ariba.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ERP ECC.
• Deep understanding of Source-to-Pay and general procurement processes.
• Practical knowledge of SAP MM and FI modules.
• Ability to perform error analysis and debugging within SAP systems.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Experience working in production-proximity and during critical project phases.
• Strong communication skills to bridge business and IT teams.
• German language proficiency at C1 level.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with GoLive and Hypercare phases is beneficial.
• English language skills are a plus.
