Remote SAP EWM Functional Consultant

PROSTAFF Schweiz GmbH seeks a Senior Remote SAP EWM Functional Consultant in Zürich to lead end-to-end implementation projects, translating business needs into scalable warehouse management solutions.

This position is central to delivering a complete SAP EWM solution for an international project. The consultant bridges the gap between business stakeholders, technical teams, and SAP specialists throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document business and functional needs.
• Convert business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions.
• Draft detailed functional specifications for development and configuration tasks.
• Configure SAP EWM systems to align with project and business goals.
• Perform unit testing and validate the configured solutions.
• Develop test scenarios and assist with System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Prepare for and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Investigate defects and aid in troubleshooting during testing phases.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business users.
• Provide functional expertise and best-practice advice during implementation.
• Ensure the final solution meets all functional and operational standards.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as an SAP EWM Functional Consultant.
• Proven track record in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration.
• Experience creating detailed functional specifications.
• Solid experience executing unit tests and preparing SIT and UAT test scenarios.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and their implementation in SAP EWM.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and remote project environment.
• Very good English skills.
