Senior Solution Architect/Project Manager - SAP EWM

The company is seeking a Senior Solution Architect/Project Manager for its SAP EWM team in Zurich. The role involves leading SAP rollouts, configuring EWM on S/4HANA, and supporting the full project lifecycle within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the expanding SAP team in Zurich, which is part of a global group of over 100 professionals dedicated to turning IT innovations into practical solutions. As the organization navigates a digital transformation to address future demands, this role will help drive that change by implementing advanced technologies and optimizing business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex SAP rollouts and projects, focusing on the configuration and implementation of EWM on S/4 HANA.
• Manage all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, documentation, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with business process experts to customize and configure SAP EWM solutions.
• Conduct business process analysis, identify gaps, and translate business requirements into SAP global template solutions.
• Provide second and third-level support, manage changes and incidents, and assist key users.

Requirements

• At least five years of SAP experience, specifically with SAP EWM on S/4HANA in both decentralized and embedded environments.
• A minimum of two full-cycle, end-to-end implementation and rollout experiences.
• Proven experience in SAP EWM requirements gathering, creating functional specification documents, integration testing, UAT, data migration, and user training.
• Strong expertise in architecting, designing, and configuring complex solutions for all SAP EWM scenarios.
• Experience with integration to MM, SD, PP, and QM modules.
• Excellent knowledge of interfaces and intralogistics processes.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Basic knowledge of ABAP (reading/debugging).
• Experience with material flow systems.
