SAP FICO System Analyst (Senior Engineer)

SHL Medical seeks a Senior SAP FICO System Analyst in Zug to manage enterprise finance solutions, ensuring system integration, compliance, and support for global finance operations.

The IT Finance Competence Center (FICC) leads the delivery and governance of enterprise finance solutions. This team ensures standardized processes, robust system integration, and scalable capabilities to support global finance operations, digital transformation, and corporate governance standards. The role exists to bridge business needs with technical SAP solutions within this critical function.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior analyst within the Finance Competence Center, focusing on enhancing SAP S/4 modules, particularly FI, CO, and PS.
• Collaborate with global finance stakeholders to identify business requirements, analyze gaps, and design scalable system solutions.
• Address enhancement and change requests, primarily supporting SAP FI components such as AP, AR, GL, AA, and Treasury.
• Maintain data consistency and ensure seamless integration between SAP S/4, upstream/downstream systems, and integration platforms.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities from a system perspective to guarantee stability and performance.
• Create and update functional specifications, process documentation, and solution designs in line with IT governance standards.
• Oversee UAT, deployment, and hyper-care phases to facilitate smooth system adoption and resolve issues quickly.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions to boost operational efficiency and user adoption.
• Work closely with internal IT technical teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Adhere to IT governance, security policies, audit requirements, and change management procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as a System Analyst, SAP Functional Analyst, or IT Business Analyst supporting finance systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), including deep expertise in Accounts Payable and SAP Vendor Invoice Management, plus working knowledge of GL, AR, and AA.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes in SAP S/4, including SD and MM integration with FI, and key flows like Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
