Michael Page seeks a Senior AI & Regulatory Change Manager in Geneva to lead strategic governance and transformation initiatives within a Swiss banking institution.
The company is looking for a professional to direct and coordinate a portfolio of strategic regulatory, governance, and transformation projects. This position serves as a central hub for ensuring that complex initiatives are delivered effectively, aligned with business goals, and managed with rigorous oversight.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise a range of regulatory, governance, and business transformation projects across the bank.
- Maintain an overview of all active and planned projects to prioritize resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
- Ensure regulatory programs are delivered successfully, focusing on practical and sustainable solutions that support business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to set priorities, manage dependencies, and reduce implementation risks.
- Create and uphold strong project governance frameworks and reporting standards.
- Track project progress using clear KPIs, milestones, risk indicators, and governance metrics.
- Provide guidance and challenge to project teams to ensure high-quality execution and delivery.
- Monitor project health and proactively identify emerging risks, suggesting corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the COO, Executive Committee, and senior management.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Business teams to ensure alignment.
- Facilitate steering committees, working groups, and decision-making forums.
- Prepare executive-level reports providing visibility on progress, risks, budgets, and recommended actions.
- Promote best practices in project and change management throughout the organization.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and solutions.
- Support the implementation of strategic regulatory changes affecting operational processes, controls, governance, and technology.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a regulated financial institution in Switzerland.
- Proven experience delivering complex regulatory, compliance, remediation, or transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, governance frameworks, and regulatory change management.
- Experience interacting with senior management, executive committees, and key stakeholders.
- Required experience in AI Change or Transformation.
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and French.
Nice to have
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent.
- Background in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Risk, COO Office, Transformation, or Project Management.
- Additional languages are considered an asset.
