This position serves as the critical link between data engineering and analytics for the company's people analytics solutions. The successful candidate will initially focus on constructing a scalable HR data platform in the cloud on AWS to establish a solid data foundation. Following this initial phase, the role shifts toward developing and operating people analytics AI use cases designed to generate tangible business value. The individual will also provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and promote a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and construct the HR data platform while maintaining high standards for data quality, governance, and security.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement people analytics use cases that deliver clear, measurable value to the business.
- Provide technical leadership, coach data engineers and scientists, and facilitate end-to-end value delivery.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Security, and business units to promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science, including building cloud-based data platforms.
- Expert-level programming and database skills in Python, R, and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impact-focused analyses and models, along with technical leadership experience.
- Experience in delivering machine learning or AI use cases.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking approach.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technology and business through effective collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of German or French is considered an advantage.
