Senior Financial Analyst – Source IM

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Zug to support IM External Manufacturing and Global Procurement with financial guidance, spend optimization, and strategic planning.

This position serves as a Finance Business Partner within the Professional job category, providing dedicated financial support and strategic guidance to the IM External Manufacturing and Global Procurement organizations. The primary objective is to optimize spending, achieve financial targets, and drive value creation across these critical business units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial advisory and support to IM Partnerships, External Supply, and Global Procurement teams to enhance spending efficiency and achieve financial goals.
• Collaborate strategically with business leaders during Standard Cost Setting, Long Range Financial Plan, and Business Plan cycles to ensure alignment.
• Assist with quarter-end close processes and management reporting activities.
• Support commercialization efforts related to third-party manufacturing and procurement operations.
• Contribute to the execution of IM Supply Chain and DS/DP External Manufacturing strategies, focusing on innovation, cost reduction, speed, agility, and reliability.
• Work with business partners to design new partnership models that strengthen the internal and external network and create additional value for the company.
• Benchmark internal and external processes to identify best-in-class improvements for contract manufacturing and develop relevant business initiatives.
• Develop and present financial models and scenarios to support data-driven decision-making for key initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data to FP&A, External Manufacturing Leadership Teams, and other relevant groups.
• Review new or renewed supplier agreements, documenting financial and risk clauses, and act as a financial lead in contractual negotiations to drive standardization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Johnson & Johnson to facilitate dynamic dialogue and develop optimal solutions.
• Contribute to the Signifi and Transcend initiatives within Source Finance by collaborating across sectors to influence program design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or a related business field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze large datasets and make sound recommendations.
• Strong results orientation with personal accountability for delivering excellent business outcomes.
• Ability to partner with colleagues at all organizational levels, including senior management, within a matrixed structure.
• Capacity to recommend, influence, and implement process improvements while working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Skill in framing and communicating issues and solutions, building consensus for process improvements.
• Comfort with ambiguity and self-motivation to take initiative and drive business results.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications.
• Experience in manufacturing or procurement.
• Experience with Anaplan.
• Experience with SAP and Analytics/Business Intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau.
