Tecan Group AG seeks a Senior IT Data Analyst in Switzerland to support digital transformation and business intelligence initiatives within the Finance and Controlling team. The role involves data analysis, SAP HANA modeling, and reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud and other tools.
This position is part of the Finance and Controlling team and focuses on advancing digital transformation and business intelligence efforts through data-driven insights and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize business data to support strategic decision-making
- Design, optimize, and maintain SAP HANA data models and reporting systems
- Integrate data from ERP, CRM, finance, and other enterprise systems
- Develop dashboards and KPIs using SAP Analytics Cloud and evaluate new BI tools
- Lead or assist in business intelligence and digital transformation projects
- Maintain data quality, governance, and compliance standards including GDPR
- Provide advanced support and training to business users
- Document data flows, models, and analytical methodologies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data analyst or BI specialist working with SAP HANA
- Solid expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP ERP (S/4), SAP Analytics Cloud, and ETL tools
- Experience with data modeling, SQLScript, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 data structures in FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP modules
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities
- Hands-on experience in managing projects
- Fluent English proficiency
- Collaborative mindset with a structured and independent approach to work
Nice to have
- Academic degree in business IT, data science, or a related field
- Experience with OneStream, Salesforce TableauNext, or PowerBI
- German language skills
