Senior Business Analyst / Business Architect

ITech Consult AG seeks a Senior Business Analyst to optimize customer and contract management processes in Zürich through data analysis and agile collaboration.

This position centers on managing customer and contract operations within a senior analytical framework. The incumbent will examine current sales data, workflows, and system architectures to design forward-looking target models. A key objective is to enhance the flexibility, automation, and efficiency of the underlying process and system landscape.

Responsibilities

• Document and analyze current workflows for customers, contracts, and sales, alongside existing system structures.
• Design future-state models and 'should-be' processes that prioritize simplicity, automation, and adaptability.
• Gather, assess, and rank business needs and requirements.
• Prepare business cases, effort estimations, and materials to support decision-making.
• Assist in evaluating solutions, participating in tender processes, and developing proof-of-concepts.
• Facilitate and lead workshops involving business units, sales teams, and IT departments.
• Produce executive presentations and formal decision documents.
• Work within an interdisciplinary, agile project setting.

Requirements

• Over 12 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Business Engineer in complex environments.
• Proven background in the banking sector or other highly regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with customer management, contract administration, CRM systems, or master data governance.
• Strong expertise in business and process analysis, including modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with intricate system landscapes and interface integrations.
• Ability to break down complex problems and communicate solutions clearly.
• Practical experience with agile frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to Siebel CRM is considered a plus.
• Experience applying AI tools within business analysis contexts is advantageous.
