Elca Informatik AG seeks a Senior Business Analyst in Bern to lead digital transformation projects for top-tier clients, focusing on IT strategy, governance, and solution design within its Advisory division.

This position sits within ELCA Advisory, the firm's consulting arm, where the analyst drives digital transformation initiatives for premier clients. The role centers on IT and digital strategies, governance, and guiding complex projects from initial business needs through to final solution design.

Responsibilities

  • Guide clients in executing their digitalization roadmaps and IT initiatives.
  • Translate client objectives into well-structured, efficient technical solutions.
  • Address client challenges using systematic methods while flagging potential project risks.
  • Present recommended strategies and maintain active dialogue with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate client workshops to navigate various project stages.
  • Manage the full project scope, starting from requirement gathering to solution architecture.
  • Rank stakeholder demands to ensure focus on critical priorities.
  • Capture, analyze, and formalize business needs as user stories.
  • Oversee system testing procedures.
  • Assist with project administration and management tasks.

Requirements

  • A university degree in IT, business administration, or comparable professional background.
  • Minimum of five years in business analysis or management consulting.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Superior communication and persuasive abilities.
  • Capacity to draft RFP responses and support marketing efforts in both German and English.
  • Self-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and independence.
  • Sharp analytical thinking.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to advance IT concepts from conception to deployment.
  • Deep interest in strategic consulting areas such as data governance, digital strategy, IT management, or audits.

Nice to have

  • Professional certifications such as IREB, HERMES, CSPO, ISTQB, or IPMA.
  • Background in data modeling or Business Process Management (BPM).
  • Industry experience in Energy, Construction, Healthcare, or Public Administration.
