Senior IT Security Architect

Viseca Holding in Bioggio, CH, seeks a Senior IT Security Architect for a full-time hybrid role. The position involves shaping enterprise security architecture, ensuring compliance with standards like PCI-DSS and NIST CSF, and translating business needs into secure technical designs.

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise’s IT security architecture, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards. It involves designing secure systems and infrastructure by converting business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on principles like Zero Trust and Defense in Depth.

Responsibilities

• Establish and upkeep enterprise IT security architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines
• Guarantee adherence to regulatory and industry standards including PCI-DSS and NIST CSF
• Design and evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructure by converting business needs into secure technical solutions, using principles such as Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, and Automated Detect & Response

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information security
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, IT architecture, or equivalent specialization
• Five years of experience in an IT Security Architect or similar senior security/architecture role
• Leadership ability and skill in structured analysis and abstraction
• Experience conducting risk assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent
• Prior experience with PCI-DSS
