Senior Portfolio Manager - Multi Asset

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager for a multi-asset role in Geneva. The position involves managing diverse portfolios, driving investment strategy, and advising high-net-worth clients within an independent platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage multi-asset portfolios spanning equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives.
• Generate consistent risk-adjusted returns that align with client mandates and firm goals.
• Combine top-down macroeconomic perspectives with rigorous bottom-up security selection.
• Formulate and communicate tactical and strategic asset allocation viewpoints.
• Participate in the Investment Committee and help shape the firm's investment stance.
• Track global macroeconomic shifts, market trends, and geopolitical risks.
• Maintain robust portfolio construction through disciplined risk budgeting.
• Manage liquidity, drawdowns, and volatility effectively.
• Comply with regulatory standards and internal control protocols.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth and institutional clients.
• Present investment strategies and performance results clearly and persuasively.
• Assist in business development efforts and client acquisition.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of portfolio management experience, ideally at a leading international asset manager or investment bank.
• Proven expertise in multi-asset investing with a strong performance history.
• Deep knowledge of global financial markets, asset allocation frameworks, and portfolio construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills with high credibility.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience at a top-tier Anglo-Saxon financial institution.
• CFA designation or equivalent qualification.
