The company seeks a Senior Program Manager for Advanced Synthesis in Visp, Switzerland. The role involves leading cross-functional teams and managing customer programs across the full project lifecycle within the Bioconjugates and Small Molecules organization.
This position acts as the primary liaison between the organization and its clients, guiding multidisciplinary groups through every stage of a project. It sits within the Advanced Synthesis division, covering both Bioconjugates and Small Molecules operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee customer initiatives from start to finish, guaranteeing they meet quality standards, stay on schedule, and remain cost-efficient.
- Serve as the primary contact and reliable partner for client interactions.
- Motivate and align various teams working in a matrix structure.
- Ensure project success by controlling budgets, schedules, and project scope.
- Work with different departments to handle scope adjustments and aid commercial planning.
- Spot potential problems early and resolve them quickly to maintain smooth operations.
- Guide and develop team members, encouraging continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a closely related discipline.
- Background in project or program management, preferably within pharmaceutical or CDMO settings.
- Solid grasp of technical, business, and organizational dynamics.
- Demonstrated track record of directing cross-functional groups and executing complex initiatives.
- Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes and drug substance development.
- Strong abilities in communication, teamwork, and leadership.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- A PhD degree is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in German is beneficial.
