Service & Project Engineer

Axon Group GmbH seeks a Service & Project Engineer in Switzerland to link technology, customers, and site execution for cooling tower maintenance and project coordination.

This position acts as the bridge between technical operations, client needs, and on-site activities. The engineer blends direct technical work with project management and site oversight, assisting industrial clients with the upkeep, improvement, and replacement of cooling towers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for service tasks, inspections, and projects.
• Diagnose technical issues and develop efficient, lasting solutions.
• Conduct measurements and inspections, then translate results into actionable advice and reports.
• Organize project sites, oversee execution, and track quality, scheduling, and progress.
• Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Conduct risk evaluations, lead site meetings, and implement necessary safety measures.
• Draft service quotes and manage administrative tasks for assignments and projects.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge and stay updated on product and application advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (construction/mechanics preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong interest in mechanical systems and industrial techniques.
• Valid category B driving license.
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch and French.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in service, maintenance, and site coordination.
• VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Certifications for forklifts, aerial work platforms, or similar equipment.
• English language proficiency.
• SAP knowledge.
