Hydac Engineering AG seeks a Service Technician for field service across Germany and neighboring regions, focusing on hydraulic and electrical systems installation, maintenance, and customer support.
This position places the technician within the Field Service division, acting as the primary point of contact at customer sites throughout Germany and adjacent countries, with occasional travel to intercontinental locations. The role requires representing the company professionally while delivering customized technical solutions that ensure operational safety and a superior customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a specialist for the setup and initial operation of industrial plants and systems.
- Conduct on-site service tasks, including troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and major overhauls.
- Work with diverse stationary hydraulic equipment across multiple industry sectors.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of the full HYDAC product range, such as filters, accumulators, cooling units, and valve technology.
- Engage with emerging technologies, including e-mobility and hydrogen applications.
- Assemble, calibrate, and optimize system components, followed by rigorous testing.
- Perform routine cleaning of systems as part of daily operational duties.
- Assist internal workshops in Saarland with repair and maintenance tasks when not deployed at customer locations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in fluid technology, with a strong focus on hydraulics.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high degree of personal accountability.
- Proven experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial machinery.
- Strong customer service skills with the capacity to represent the brand effectively.
