Ferrum seeks a Service Technician based in Europe to handle international commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance for food and beverage packaging machinery.
This position supports Ferrum’s mechanical engineering operations by managing global service activities for packaging machines used in the food and beverage sector. The role requires frequent international travel to ensure equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct commissioning, troubleshooting, inspections, and overhauls for machines worldwide.
- Deliver training sessions for both internal teams and external clients.
- Advise clients on spare parts needs and maintenance strategies.
- Support internal testing processes and the finalization of new machine builds.
- Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed visit reports.
Requirements
- Completed technical training in mechanics, such as as a machinist, mechanic, or electromechanic.
- Strong verbal and written proficiency in English.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering and pneumatics.
- Competent computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Willingness to travel internationally and perform fieldwork.
- Current residence in Europe, with a preference for candidates living in Spain or the UK.
