Sr Manager, Information Architecture

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager for Information Architecture in Zug, CH, to lead data strategy for Plan & Source domains within the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain.

This position sits within the Data Strategy and Operations Team of the Value Chain Management organization. The primary purpose is to direct and manage the information architecture for the Plan & Source functional business domains, ensuring robust data governance and alignment with broader corporate strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end design and deployment of data products for Plan & Source domains.
• Guarantee that data assets adhere to FAIR principles and align with the IMSC Data Architecture standards.
• Formulate central strategies to reduce data redundancy and clarify the single source of truth.
• Partner with functional and technology teams to build scalable data models.
• Develop and maintain conceptual and logical business information policies for IMSC.
• Collaborate with Data Owners to define domain roadmaps and secure necessary budget and resources.
• Establish metadata and data quality frameworks to maintain high standards throughout the data lifecycle.
• Assist the IMSC Data Governance team in implementing governance capabilities across data domains.
• Drive automation and simplification initiatives, including the use of AI agents.
• Support the development of an end-to-end data stack capable of supporting future AI applications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field focusing on data management, analytics, or AI.
• Extensive experience in data modeling techniques such as medallion architecture, Data Vault, Data Marts, and OBT.
• Deep knowledge of modern data technologies, including workflow capabilities for master data, data catalogues, Lakehouse, and ontology management.
• At least five years of experience in a global pharmaceutical supply chain environment.
• Proven history of leading multi-year strategy or technology deployment projects focused on information or data management.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and drive results across complex organizational ecosystems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with industry data management standards such as FAIR, IDMP, and ISO.
• Understanding of relevant compliance standards.
• Prior experience working within the healthcare sector.
