Michael Page is hiring a Senior Strategic Executive Assistant to the CFO in Geneva. This newly created role blends high-level executive support with hands-on finance responsibilities, requiring bilingual French/English skills and a strong analytical mindset.

This newly established position combines the duties of an Executive Assistant with substantive finance tasks. The incumbent will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, managing daily operations, optimizing schedules, and supporting financial reporting and analysis while ensuring seamless communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CFO, facilitating daily operations and managing time effectively.
  • Proactively organize the CFO's calendar, anticipate scheduling conflicts, and adjust priorities to align with business goals.
  • Create high-quality briefing documents, summaries, and talking points for internal and external meetings.
  • Draft, review, and manage professional correspondence in both English and French, ensuring clarity and appropriate tone.
  • Coordinate meetings, committees, and governance forums, handling logistics, agendas, and supporting materials.
  • Attend key sessions to record minutes, track decisions, and follow up on action items with stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage complex travel itineraries, ensuring efficiency and alignment with corporate priorities.
  • Handle confidential information with utmost discretion and sound judgment.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, dashboards, and presentation materials.
  • Support budget planning cycles and ongoing financial monitoring activities.
  • Perform financial data consolidation, basic analysis, and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Contribute to materials for Board meetings, Finance Committees, and audit processes.
  • Liaise with internal finance teams, external auditors, and financial institutions to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Ensure financial deliverables are clear, well-structured, and aligned with decision-making needs.
  • Support strategic finance and cross-functional projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Ensure strong follow-up and execution discipline across initiatives led or overseen by the CFO.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, or delays and proactively escalate or help resolve issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping to define and implement new ways of working in a newly created role.
  • Assist in building structure, tools, and documentation as the function evolves.
  • Act as a key interface between the CFO and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth, professional, and efficient communication.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders, partners, and key actors within the Geneva financial ecosystem.
  • Facilitate coordination across teams, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and alignment.
  • Support the CFO in maintaining a strong external presence through well-prepared interactions and materials.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant at C-level, ideally supporting a CFO or finance leader.
  • Strong finance background or exposure (budgeting, reporting, financial environments).
  • Excellent knowledge of the Geneva economic ecosystem and Swiss financial landscape.
  • Perfectly bilingual French / English, with outstanding written English skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Highly comfortable with numbers and advanced Excel use.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while remaining proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Tech-savvy, with excellent command of digital tools.
