Structural Engineer 100% (m/w/d)

Swisspearl Eternit Schweiz seeks a Structural Engineer in Niederurnen to conduct wind load calculations, FEM analysis, and product testing for European projects.

This position places you within the international engineering team at the company’s headquarters in Niederurnen, Switzerland. You will perform structural calculations, FEM analysis, and product testing while supporting business units across Europe, offering the chance to work in a dynamic cross-border environment with colleagues throughout the continent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wind load calculations and deliver technical assessments for various projects
• Run simulations to validate structural integrity and optimize system performance
• Take part in product testing, documentation, and certification processes
• Revise wind load tables and keep installation manuals up to date

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Building Engineering
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of structural mechanics and proficiency with FEM/FEA software
• Possess one to five years of experience in construction, façade systems, or building materials
• Be fluent in both English and German
