Student Opportunity - Junior Accounts Assistant - Ticino (6-month position)

Joveo Mojo SpeciTec SA seeks a Junior Accounts Assistant for a 6-month part-time role in Ticino, supporting the finance team with invoice processing and ERP migration tasks.

This position provides a six-month opportunity to assist the local accounting department during a period of heightened activity driven by an ERP migration and broader finance transformation efforts. The role is designed to offer practical, hands-on experience in an international setting, allowing the candidate to develop core accounting competencies while contributing to key operational projects.

Responsibilities

• Manually input supplier invoices into the accounting software.
• Record accounting transactions accurately and within required timeframes.
• Provide support to the Finance department during the ongoing ERP migration.
• Keep accounting records and related documentation up to date and precise.
• Handle various basic accounting duties as assigned.
• Utilize Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook for daily tasks.
• Collaborate with Finance colleagues located in both Ticino and Geneva.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Commit to a six-month part-time engagement, working between 30% and 60% capacity.
• Demonstrate a fundamental grasp of accounting principles.
• Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Speak Italian fluently; possess a good working knowledge of English.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is beneficial.
• Prior exposure to Oracle or other ERP platforms is advantageous but not mandatory.
