The company is seeking a Junior Financial Controller for a 6-8 month contract based in Zürich or Lausanne. The role focuses on controlling, pricing, and financial planning within the Controlling & Pricing team.
This position sits within the Controlling & Pricing team at The Adecco Group Switzerland, bridging finance and business operations. The role supports performance management, pricing decisions, and financial planning while providing hands-on experience in a large international organization. The position is based in Zürich or Lausanne and is scheduled to start in September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct performance analysis and generate reports.
- Track weekly performance metrics across the branch network.
- Ensure data accuracy and deliver actionable insights to the business.
- Prepare client and management reports to aid decision-making.
- Analyze SG&A, revenue, and margins with Business Controllers, highlighting trends and risks.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Business Controllers.
- Maintain and improve Power BI dashboards.
- Perform gap analysis against targets and identify improvement opportunities.
- Use Anaplan for planning data management.
- Develop business cases for new commercial opportunities.
- Support pricing strategy and engage in discussions with Sales.
- Work with Legal and other stakeholders on client agreements.
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify reporting.
- Contribute to improving tools, processes, and data quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- 1–3 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or financial analysis.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Fluent in English.
- French or German required (both is a big plus).
Nice to have
- Power BI experience.
- Fluency in both French and German.
