VisilabGroup seeks a Junior Business Controller in Geneva for a 6-month fixed-term role. The position focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within a retail environment.
This position supports the finance team by managing budgeting cycles, producing quarterly re-forecasts, and analyzing monthly profit and loss impacts to aid strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly forecasts, quarterly updates, and annual budgets while adhering to group timelines.
- Establish and track key financial and operational metrics, including working capital and days sales in inventory (DSI).
- Generate return on investment (ROI) reports for various investment initiatives.
- Provide quantitative and financial analysis to support decision-making for department heads, finance teams, and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the EL Group to exchange best practices and review processes.
- Oversee and optimize margins for both central operations and individual stores.
- Build and maintain complex financial models and business cases using Excel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a preference for finance, accounting, or controlling.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- At least one year of experience in the retail sector or within an international organization.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and competent PowerPoint abilities.
Nice to have
- Verbal and written proficiency in German and/or French is considered an asset.
