Telephonist (French and English)

Michael Page in Geneva seeks a mid-level Telephonist fluent in French and English to manage a high-volume switchboard, handle executive communications, and coordinate travel and facility requests. The role requires 5+ years of experience in a service-focused environment and strong technical skills with telephony systems.

This position involves managing a multilingual switchboard for a high-demand environment, ensuring smooth communication flows and professional service for senior management and VIPs. The role supports executive operations through call handling, security protocols, and administrative coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage the CISCO telephony system, including call routing, message handling via the operator console, and supporting executive-level communications.
• Handle all client and internal interactions with strict confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion, especially when dealing with VIPs and senior stakeholders.
• Enforce security measures by identifying and managing suspicious or fraudulent calls.
• Coordinate travel logistics, including domestic train travel (CFF), international travel requests, and subscription renewals.
• Oversee facility-related requests through the internal ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination with relevant teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a service-oriented, high-expectation environment.
• Strong proficiency in French and English (C1 level or higher).
• Solid technical ability with telephony systems and administrative tools.
