Trainee in Marketing

Tecan Group AG seeks a Marketing Trainee for its Partnering Business Division in Männedorf, Zurich. This 6-month role focuses on digital campaigns, ABM, and data analysis to drive brand awareness and sales support.

The company is a publicly listed leader in life sciences looking for a Marketing Trainee within the Partnering Business Division. The position aims to boost brand visibility, create demand, and assist the sales team through targeted marketing efforts. This is a full-time, six-month fixed-term assignment based in Männedorf, Zurich.

Responsibilities

• Help execute integrated and account-based marketing strategies to reach specific customers and produce qualified leads.
• Set up, track, and refine digital marketing campaigns.
• Manage campaign materials like emails, landing pages, ads, and webinars to ensure a consistent message across all channels.
• Monitor campaign results against key performance indicators and prepare reports.
• Help build marketing dashboards and reporting tools to display performance data and insights.
• Keep CRM data accurate to support proper segmentation and lead tracking.
• Participate in brand-building efforts, including creating digital content, researching market trends, and analyzing competitors.
• Assist with marketing events and internal communication tasks.
• Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Digital Marketing, and Branding teams.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in business administration, Marketing, Data Science, or Information Systems.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience, ideally including at least one completed internship.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Excellent command of English for communication.

Nice to have

• Experience creating KPI dashboards or using data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of the German language.
