Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Clinical Quality expert in Zug to lead ERP transformation and process harmonization for global Clinical/R&D Quality operations.

This position plays a central role in a worldwide initiative to modernize transactional workflows by consolidating them into a single ERP system. The incumbent will drive the standardization of Clinical and R&D Quality processes, develop the global template, and act as a change champion to ensure smooth adoption across markets.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Innovative Medicine Clinical and R&D Quality activities, driving the standardization and adoption of S/4 HANA capabilities globally.
  • Ensure that all quality processes and system designs align with the future-state blueprint for the Transcend program.
  • Champion change management efforts within Clinical and R&D Quality to support global process harmonization.
  • Create, maintain, and govern the Global Template to guarantee consistency and integrity across all operational markets.
  • Design and refine business processes to fit the future Clinical and R&D Quality ecosystem architecture.
  • Assist in executing business simulations and user acceptance testing phases.
  • Map and document end-to-end workflows for Clinical and R&D Quality functions.
  • Contribute to training design, compliance documentation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Establish standard testing methodologies and tools to validate process consistency.
  • Support activities related to quality compliance, system validation, and change control.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
  • Functional background in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance within complex, multi-ERP environments.
  • Proven track record of supporting or operating large-scale ERP processes during transformation or implementation projects.
  • Experience leading or improving operational technological processes in a global organizational setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in people management and staff development.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Certifications such as PMP, FPX, APICS, or Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Skills in business process design, engineering, or optimization.
  • History of participating in large-scale SAP ERP replacement projects.
  • Additional language proficiency in German, Dutch, or Italian.
