Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Commercial Quality expert in Zug to lead process harmonization and global template development within its Transcend ERP transformation program.
This position plays a central role in a multi-year global business transformation initiative aimed at modernizing transactional processes and consolidating them into a single ERP system. The incumbent will lead the standardization of Commercial Quality business processes, support the creation of a Global Template, and act as a change champion to ensure alignment with the future-state blueprint across all markets.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Innovative Medicine Commercial Quality activities, driving the standardization and adoption of S/4 HANA capabilities globally.
- Ensure that all Commercial Quality process designs align with the Transcend future-state blueprint.
- Champion change across the Commercial Quality function to support global standardization and process harmonization.
- Develop, document, and maintain the Global Template, ensuring consistency and integrity across all regional markets.
- Apply global and business-focused reasoning to address critical issues, manage business risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Build and optimize business processes within the future-state Commercial Quality ecosystem and support their adoption in regional organizations.
- Support Business Simulation and User Acceptance Testing to ensure the deployment team understands the intended template designs.
- Document and map end-to-end Commercial Quality processes, maintaining high-quality and up-to-date knowledge center content.
- Provide insights for training design, compliance documentation, and ongoing process updates.
- Develop and implement standard testing approaches and tools to ensure consistent process validation.
- Support quality compliance, system validation, and change control processes to maintain operational excellence and an ongoing compliant state.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Business functional experience in Operations, Supply Chain, and/or Finance within a complex, multi-ERP environment.
- Experience operating or supporting large-scale ERP processes following transformation or implementation programs.
- Experience supporting, improving, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes in a global organization.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating/influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate at various levels, including program teams and senior leadership.
- People management and development experience, including direct or indirect reports and internal/external partners.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively and professionally.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree or university equivalent.
- Certifications in PMP, FPX, APICS, or Lean/Six Sigma/Process Excellence.
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with business process design, engineering, or optimization.
- Proven experience with large-scale SAP ERP replacement projects.
- Experience leading and governing multi-functional decision-making bodies.
- Experience deploying and/or improving standardized work processes, tools, and templates.
- Proficiency in German, Dutch, or Italian.
